Screenwashes - For Safe and Effective Ink Removal
Description
Envirotek screenwashes are biodegradable, 100% water-soluble, non-flammable ink degraders manufactured for the removal of textile-screen printing inks.
Application
Our screenwashes are effective, all-purpose ink degraders specifically formulated to remove the toughest of textile Screen Printing inks. They can be used on UV, epoxy, plastisol, conventional, and solvent-based inks as they are made with a degreasing agent that produces a clean and oil-free screen after rinsing. The continuous use of our Envirotek screenwashes will increase the life of your screen fabrics and squeegee blades.

Haze Removers
Tek-402 Haze Remover
Description:
Tek-402 Haze Remover is a safe, odourless, biodegradable, 100% water-soluble formula, used for the removal of haze and ghost images caused by UV, epoxy, plastisols, stencil, conventional and solvent-based ink residues.
Application:
Tek-402 Haze Remover, when used in combination with a Tek screenwash of choice, is a very efficient and safe haze and ghost remover. It contains a degreasing agent that generates a clean and oil-free screen after rinsing. The continuous use of Tek-402 will significantly increase the life of the screen fabric.
Characteristics:
Tek-402 Haze Remover has a low caustic content of a maximum 7% and is readily biodegradable with no VOC emissions, and is a safe product when used as directed. However, large spills should be cleaned and treated in compliance with local governmental regulations.
Procedure for removing light to medium stains:
Spray or brush Tek-402 Haze Remover onto both sides of the screen, wait 5 to 10 minutes, then apply a Tek screenwash of choice to both sides. Wait another 2 to 5 minutes and remove the product with a high-pressure water system, starting from the bottom of the screen and slowly working your way up from side to side.

Procedure for removing heavy to old stains:
Spray or brush Tek-402 Haze Remover onto both sides of a dry screen allowing the product to dry completely, and then apply a Tek screenwash of your choice to both sides of the screen. Wait 3 to 5 minutes before removing the product with a high-pressure water system, starting from the bottom of the screen and slowly working your way up from side to side.
Note - If haze or ghosting persists, the use of Tek-404 Screen Rejuvenator may be required.
Screen Rejuvenator
Tek-404 Screen Rejuvenator
Description:
Tek-404 Screen Rejuvenator is a biodegradable, 100% water-soluble formula manufactured for the removal of the heaviest haze and ghost images caused by UV, epoxy, plastisol, stencil, conventional, and solvent-based ink residues.
Application:
Tek-404 Screen Rejuvenator, when used in combination with a Tek screenwash of choice, is a powerful haze and ghost-image remover. Using this product instead of heavy caustic pastes will greatly increase the life of a screen fabric. (Please refer to the Safety Data Sheet for this product.)
Characteristics:
Tek-404 Screen Rejuvenator has a higher caustic content (up to 12%) and is readily biodegradable with no VOC emissions. It is a safe product when used as directed; however, spills should be cleaned and treated in compliance with local governmental regulations.
Procedure for removing light to medium stains:
Spray or brush Tek-404 Screen Rejuvenator onto both sides of the screen, and wait 5 to 10 minutes. Apply a Tek screenwash to both sides of the screen, and wait 2 to 5 minutes. Remove the products with a high-pressure water system, starting from the bottom of the screen and slowly working your way up from side to side.

Procedure for removing heavy or old stains:
Spray or brush Tek-404 Screen Rejuvenator onto both sides of a dry screen and allow it to completely dry. Apply a Tek screenwash to both sides of the screen and wait 3 to 5 minutes. Remove with a high-pressure water system, starting from the bottom and slowly working your way up from side to side.
Note - Due to fabric wear, improper stretching, or mesh counts of 280 TPI or more, the use of Tek-404 could cause fabric breakage, as with any other caustic haze remover.
Emulsion Removers
Tek-400 Emulsion Remover Crystals
Description:
Tek-400 Emulsion Remover Crystals are concentrated crystals to be dissolved 1:20 to 1:30 in water and intended for fast removal of emulsions and capillary films.
Application:
Tek-400 Emulsion Remover Crystals, when dissolved, are a powerful stencil remover. Do not allow the emulsion remover to dry on the screen before removing with water; otherwise, the stencil may become hard and difficult to remove.
Characteristics:
Tek-400 Emulsion Remover Crystals, when dissolved, are an odourless and economical stencil remover. When used as directed, this product is safe; however, large spills (either dry or dissolved) should be cleaned and treated in compliance with local governmental regulations.
Procedure:
After having removed the ink using a Tek screenwash of choice and rinsed the screen with water, spray or brush the dissolved Tek-400 onto both sides of the screen. Allow enough time for the emulsion or film to solubilise. Thoroughly wash both sides, starting from the bottom and working your way up from side to side, followed by a high-pressure rinsing.
Tek-401 Emulsion Remover
Description:
Tek-401 Emulsion Remover is a ready to use, biodegradable, 100% water soluble formula designed for the fast removal of emulsions and capillary films.
Application:
Tek-401 Emulsion Remover is a powerful stencil remover which features a special degreasing quality, resulting in a clean and oil free screen after rinsing. Do not allow Tek-401 to dry on the screen otherwise, the stencil may become hard and difficult to remove.
Characteristics:
Tek-401 Emulsion Remover is an odourless and ready to use stencil remover, thus eliminating the dangers of handling concentrated liquids or powders. Large spills should be cleaned and treated in compliance with local governmental regulations.
Procedure:
After having removed the ink using a Tek screenwash of choice and rinsed the screen with water, spray or brush Tek-401 onto both sides of the screen. Allow enough time for the emulsion or film to solubilise. Thoroughly wash both sides of the screen, starting from the bottom and working your way up from side to side, followed by a high-pressure rinsing.
Tek-401C-20 Emulsion Remover Concentrate
Description:
Tek-401C-20 Emulsion Remover Concentrate is a biodegradable, 100% water-soluble concentrate to be diluted 1:20 with water for fast removal of emulsions and capillary films.
Application:
Tek-401C-20 Emulsion Remover Concentrate diluted 1:20 is a powerful stencil remover possessing a special degreasing agent and producing a clean, oil-free screen after rinsing. Do not apply Tek-401C-20 at full strength or allow the diluted product to dry on the screen before removing with water or the stencil may become hard and difficult to remove.
Characteristics:
When diluted, Tek-401C-20 Emulsion Remover Concentrate is a no-odour stencil remover. The use of concentrated liquids provides an economical alternative to powders and eliminates exposure to toxic dust during preparation. Spills should be cleaned and treated in compliance with local governmental regulations.
Procedure:
After having removed ink using a Tek screenwash of choice. Spray or brush the product onto both sides of the screen, allowing enough time for the emulsion or film to solubilize. Thoroughly wash both sides of the screen from side to side, starting from the bottom and working your way up. Follow with a high-pressure rinsing.

Tek-405 Degreaser
Description:
Tek-405 Degreaser is a ready-to-use, biodegradable, 100% water-soluble, liquid formula intended for the removal of contamination resting on screens.
Application:
Tek-405 Degreaser is specially formulated for eliminating grease and dirt from fabric while improving adhesion of stencil films and emulsions.
Characteristics:
Tek-405 Degreaser is a cost-effective, odourless and drain-safe product. While improving adhesion of films and emulsions, it helps to prevent fisheyes, pinholes, and early stencil breakdown. In addition, Tek-405 reduces dust contamination by acting as an anti-static agent.
Procedure:
Using a soft-bristled brush, apply Tek-405 Degreaser to both sides of the screen, brushing in a circular motion. Thoroughly rinse both sides with water and follow with a high-pressure rinsing.
Tek-405C Degreaser Concentrate
Description:
Tek-405C Degreaser Concentrate is a biodegradable and 100% water-soluble liquid to be diluted 1:20 with water for the removal of contamination on screens.
Application:
Tek-405C Degreaser Concentrate, when diluted, is specially formulated and intended for the removal of grease and dirt on fabric while improving adhesion of stencil films and emulsions.
Characteristics:
Tek-405C Degreaser Concentrate is a cost-effective, odourless, and drain-safe product. It improves adhesion for films and emulsions and helps to prevent fisheyes, pinholes, and early stencil breakdown. In addition, Tek-405C reduces dust contamination by acting as an anti-static agent.

Tek-406 Mesh Abrader
Description:
Tek-406 Mesh Abrader is an environmentally compatible abrading paste for new fabric.
Application:
Tek-406 Mesh Abrader improves adhesion of stencil films and emulsions. In addition, this product is an excellent degreaser specially formulated for the removal of grease and dirt from the fabric while abrading the screen.
Characteristics:
Tek-406 Mesh Abrader is a cost-effective, odourless, environment-friendly, water soluble, and biodegradable product. The use of Tek-406 reduces pinholes and prevents early stencil breakdown. When used as directed, this product is safe; however, large spills should be cleaned and treated in compliance with local governmental regulations.
Procedure:
Using a Tek Abrader Brush, apply Tek-406 to both sides of the screen, brushing in a circular motion. Thoroughly rinse both sides with water, followed with a high-pressure rinsing.
